Following the previous discovery phase, I was involved in the development of personas and user journey mapping which identified potential opportunities and establishment of our global audience, where the here, near and far concept was also derived.
Through this, I completed subsequent competitor analysis, not just in the sports industry, but in the media and entertainment’s, to better understand what other products were offering in terms of the delivery of video content.
Close collaboration with UX Designers on a daily basis continued to allow constant refinements to the development of the most optimum experience, laying solid foundations for visual explorations.
We wanted to create a new home for LFC’s content while providing an experience where the content is firmly put as the focus of the app. Through this, we utilised the powerful tool of imagery to lift an engaging style of content visualisation to the fans.
Between the team of UX, Visual Designers and Developers, continuous refinements were made through prototyping and testing with APK and Testflight for both Android and iOS devices. This iterative process enabled the optimisation on content and allow the experience to be as intuitive and unobstructive as possible.
In addition to static visuals, high fidelity animated prototypes using Principle were created, with the aim to not just better communicate our designs to the client and overseas Developers, but to bring the designs to life, increase usability and enhance the end to end experience.
